Eva will do anything to keep her daughter alive.

Living off the grid, Eva and her husband Frank have built a peaceful, yet careful life around their twelve-year-old daughter, Carly, whose rare illness is worsening. Plagued by seizures, episodes of paralysis and confusion, Carly knows - but won’t admit - she is running out of time. Desperate to save their daughter, Eva and Frank travel great lengths to find enhanced remedies - but nothing seems to reverse Carly’s disease.

However, when a stranger points them toward Greta, a self-proclaimed healer running a secluded community in the Appalachian Mountains, Eva pleads with Frank to take their family - which includes Carly’s twin brother, Jensen - for a visit. And so the family embarks on a quest for a miracle no doctor could provide.

Upon arrival, Greta welcomes the family with open arms, shares her verified medical knowledge, and helps integrate them into her community of believers. But beneath Greta’s warmth lies another desperate woman running out of options - and her discovery of Carly’s rare disease might just offer her the very solution she’s been seeking for years.

When night falls and the power cuts out, Frank vanishes and the community’s hopeful promises reveal their true maniacal nature. Trapped inside this sprawling compound built on secrets, sacrifice and something more sinister than any parent could imagine, Eva and Frank must fight their way through the dark to get their children out alive - before Greta’s “cure” claims them all.
